題目:Introduction to Elasticity《彈性力學基礎》

教學安排:共16學時,每次課兩學時,8次課
課程目標:
Students will be able to apply the fundamental principles of elasticity to solve two-dimensional problems involved in modern applications in elastic structures, composite materials, tribology and contact mechanics. Both analytical and numerical methods will be introduced. Dependence on previous knowledge of solid mechanics, continuum mechanics or mathematics is minimized. The emphasis is placed on the engineering applications of elasticity. Students are encouraged to use Matlab and Matlab Symbolic Math toolbox to solve homework problems.

8: Thermoelasticity, case study-thermoelastic instability(11月18日)

Dr. Yun-Bo Yi, Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at the University of Denver (DU), remains active in the area related to automotive brakes and clutches, his current research endeavors have extended to the emerging areas of micro/nano scale mechanics and heterogeneous composite materials.
